BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY 1st MAY will see one of the world’s most celebrated techno DJs, PAUL WOOLFORD, at THE TUBE.

PAUL WOOLFORD should need no introduction, currently holding the title of “Best DJ” in the DJ Mag Best of British poll. Through his work as DJ, producer, dancefloor experimentalist, remixer, collaborator and label owner, Paul Woolford has succeeded in bringing a rare level of artistry to the world of modern dance music. In doing so, he has made an enduring global impact. His name is synonymous with high-quality.

2011 is rapidly becoming a very important year for Paul – a year in which he sees himself right at the cutting edge of dance music, with forthcoming material being released on big labels such as Carl Craig’s Planet E, Steve Bug’s Pokerflat and Sven Vath’s Cocoon Recordings. He is also busy maintaining a hectic schedule on his global tour, playing at leading clubs such as Tokyo’s Womb, Berlin’s Panorama Bar, Warung and D Edge in Brazil, and for the 4th year, the renewal of his ‘We Love… Space’ residency in Ibiza.

Many know Woolford’s name through his slow-burning, hard-hitting Techno hit “Erotic Discourse”, released in 2005. It became very successful and now stands as a classic – Erol Alkan described it as “a modern day psyche record”. Have a listen below to hear why…

Supporting Woolford on the night will be YUSUF SEBAITI, SAM WATTS and NEAL LEWIS.

Due to the intimate space of The Tube, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance for this event, as numbers are limited!
